Tesla has been in the media a lot lately for offering electric cars, something that will both combat the environmental damage done by typical carbon dioxide emitting vehicles, and also is just cool in a technological sense, but Audi is definitely offering some competition. The Audi e-tron quattro will be offering a long range, fast-charging capability, and piloted driving features which makes it look as though other car makers should be getting a little worried.
This new Audi model isn't going into production until 2018, but is expected to offer 310 miles on a single charge, but also features a solar roof that can help to power the drive system, something that could provide an extra 320 watts of power.
While we wait for the e-tron quattro to be released, you can come in to Audi Huntsville and test drive our current model lineup and enjoy the luxury while you watch the new electric model be developed.
